Stayed for 2 nights, lovely room with comfy beds,ensuite facilities and everything we needed. Great location with some nice pubs and restaurants to hand.

I just recently spent 2 nights at the Marina View Guest House.My room was lovely, very clean and cosy.Added plus of a fridge in the room.It is surrounded bya nice variety of cafes,restaurants and bars.Very handy for lovely beach/dunes walks.Lots of history plaques about the harbour which was very interesting.Will definitely stay again.

Spent a comfort tree able night staying at the Marina View guest house. Clean, comfortable and close to the town and eating places.

I enjoyed the hospitality of Mr Trembles accommodation and found it more than met my needs.Lovely warm, clean room with a comfy bed , tea and coffee facilities and there was even a microwave and fridge…. What more would anyone need!The location was adjacent to Irvine’s oldest pub, a variety of eating places, the Maritime museum and Harbour Arts Centre.If your looking for somewhere to stay, consider the Marina its a few minutes walk from the centre of Irvine and close to all amenities

This place is extremely good value for what we paid for our room for 7 nights. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. Maybe add a nicechair or 2 if the fridge and microwave were removed , as we didn’t have a need for these as we had breakfast and meals out as lots of very nearby and reasonably priced, serving great food and coffee.Parking was easy and room was serviced daily. Excellent all round and definitely be back next year.

2 of us stayed at Marina View as it is right next door to the Harbour Arts centre.Access was really easy and with free parking over the road.The family room (room 3) exceeded our expectations. There were 2 rooms each with a TV, double in one and single in the other.The was an ironing board, fridge and microwave too.The view look straight on to the harbour as well and straight north where you can see for miles.Spoke with Andy and he was very helpful.It's also really reasonably priced too.Strongly recommended and we will book again the next time we come up to the centre next door

Came here for a few nights away and was delighted with marina view,ideally situated with bars restaurants near by lovely and quiet at night,room was lovely tv microwave fridge tea making facilities,room was spotless,was a twin room upstairs room 2,and had plenty of room in it spotless bathroom, nice decor,couldn't have asked for better totally relaxing,don't miss a visit to this little gem 💎 with everything nearby and harbour lights bar/restaurant just along from it the food is amazing don't miss that either,thank you for an amazing stay be back soon.

We booked the marina for 1 night about 2 hours prior to checking in. It's a self check in and hadn't received the code yet but contacted Andrew and gained access within around 5 minutes. We have never booked the same day before but it was made easy and the room was spotless, clean and a nice room a little small but that was no issue. There is a fridge and microwave in the room and also a hair dryer in the draws. The bathroom was clean, and big enough the only down fall was the shower It's self 15 minutes we tried every setting possible but the temperature was either too hot or too cold so gave up had a quickwash and got out. The room does have a decent size TV but is on the wall at the side of the bed making it difficult to watch and is way to high, that's my only 2 reasons for the 4 stars.

Stayed here for my mum's birthday.Must be the cleanest Guest House that we've stayed in.Ideal for the restaurant next door. Only negative (and it's a very small negative)is the double could do with a chair.We all had to sit on the bed, which isn't very hygienic, when have post restaurant drinks & cake.Otherwise, excellent. Everything ran smoothly with clear instructions & even managed a late check out.Would certainly recommend and return. Well done all staff.

This is the second time I've stayed here which says a lot! The accomodation is in a great location overlooking the harbour. Few mi Utes walk to beach and plenty places to eat and drink on the doorstep. 10 mins walk into town centre. The room I was in was clean and very comfortable and nice ensuite. The room benefited from a fridge and microwave as wee as the usual tea and coffee facilities. I was with a friend who stayed in the room next door to me. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well. I will stay here again.

Having stayed twice at this property and once in the sister property, St Andrews, I cannot rate too highly. Clean, fairly priced and near to the local amenities, train station and pubs/restaurants in Irvine. Ideal for connections to Glasgow and towns in Ayrshire.

Nicely appointed and cozy.It felt very homey.There are a few places very close to eat.The ship was great for dinner and GRO was our breakfast choice.We had booked just by looking at pics and description online- and the six of us were pleasantly surprised with Marina View Guest house.We will recommend to our friends as they are planning their vacations to come.

Stayed for 2 nights, comfortable, warm room with tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and a microwave which was perfect for us as we were there for the weekend for a swimming competition so could easily keep nutritious snacks fresh. We always have a large family get together every Marymas. As the family has grown and now ranges from my mother who lives in Irvine down to her great-grandchildren, we need additional overnight accommodation. We had 3 rooms and they were perfect for our needs. Self-check-in and check-out worked just fine. The rooms are all modern, well-equipped and clean. In the morning we went the short walk to GRO coffee where we had a great breakfast. We will definitely use the Marina View in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Marina view for one night as we had tickets for a show at the harbour arts centre.The guest house was a few steps from the venue which was brilliant.The guest house wasclean and we had a very comfortable stay.It even had a full sized fridge which was great for the drinks and snacks that we brought.Plus point for us was being able to park right outside the front door.The guest house is a short walk from nice pubs and cafes and just along the main road is the beautiful Irvine beach.We will definitely be back.

Was golfing in the area and needed somewhere to stay for 1 night along with a few other girls.Nice accommodation if you want a room on a room only basis.Excellent room with fridge, microwave, hair dryer and lots of other little touches.Extremely clean and in a lovely location with lots of restaurants nearby and plenty off street parking.Would recommend and would definitely stay again and great value for money.

Stayed 2 nights while the during the Open at Troon. Room was very clean. Andrew was very welcoming and attentive. They offered us a free lift to and from the Golf, which saved us money and time.Highly recommended.

Staying at Marina View for 2 nights was great. Very good communication from time of booking through to the ‘self check in’. The room and bathroom was lovely and clean. Excellent beds and crisp linen and so very quiet at night. There were loads of food options right next to the guest house or within a 10 minute walk along the promenade. I would highly recommend Marina View and would stay again.

Needed an overnight stay and found a little gem. No messing , easly booked and communication from the landlord was straight away. Very clean and had all the things you need and even a microwave!.

This Guest House was spotless with beautiful decor.We stayed in the Studio room which was very spacious and had a fridge and a microwave.The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows.The price of the Guest house was very reasonable.

Efficient check in remotely. Easy parking, excellent meal at Duncan’s next door. Post meal walk down river to the beach. Would recommend and will use if returning to area.

Rooms clean and comfortable but small, OK for local travelers but a little cramped for overseas visitors with international luggage.

Lovely little guest house in a beautiful location. The check in instructions had gone to my junk mail so I didn't see them but a quick call to the number on the building soon had us inside. The bed was just a double but it was comfortable and the bathroom was small but adequate. There are cafes, coffee shops and a pub located close by but the pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

I found the Marina View to be a nice place to stay in. Situated by the river and close to a gorgeous beach with plenty of places to eat nearby, what more do you need than a nice clean and tidy room to stay in and I was not disappointed. The room appeared to be freshly decorated and the bed was comfortable so would definitely recommend.

The Marina View was easy to find, easy to park our cars,a good location for the retail park, clean and efficient check in and check out. The Ship next door does good food.

Beautiful bijou accommodation. Clean. Well decorated. All you need. The en suite in room 5 has magically, fitted in a sink, loo and shower in the tiniest of areas. Don’t try to swing a cat, but it was fine! Tea facility. Good WiFi. Easy parking. FABULOUS Gro coffee eatery place within a minutes walk.

My wife and I arrived on a cold stormy evening, gaining entry to the room was state forward and soon we were in our room. The heating was on and the room was warm, clean, and well-appointed and everything we needed was as detailed in the booking. We had a very pleasant stay and can recommend this wonderful guest house; we enjoyed our stay and very comfortable surroundings. We stayed for 10 nights to visit family and travelled from Australia. The Guest house is located close to local restaurants, shops, and amenities that are within a few minutes’ drive or a 10-15-minute walk, dependant on your walking speed.We give this Guest House 5 stars.

We had a last minute trip to the area for a wedding we weren’t expecting so had no time to book at the wedding venue. Found this little gem and didn’t hesitate to book. The instructions for accessing the property were clear and simple. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Even though we were close to two pubs and eateries there was no noise from passers by. The shower was hot and wet, and the fridge came in handy for some snacks too!Plenty of parking all along the seafront with a car park directly opposite but the parking does get pretty full if you’re out of the area on a Friday or Saturday night and come back around 9pm while the pubs are full of people.Would definitely come back and book again

Large room.with a large ensuit.Room is pretty basic but clean and comfortable and has everything you need including a fridge and microwave. any problems are swiftly deal with by the manager. Guest house is in a fabulous location with plenty pubs/restaurants in walking distance. Great views over the harbour and only a 10 minute walk into local.shopping centre and retail park. I'll definatly stay here again.

Very clean and bright. Peaceful with no noise from other guests, free WiFi which was handy. Nice and central, only a 5 minute walk to the beach and rivergate retail park which has many shops and a wetherspoons pub. I can't fault it in any way.

It’s a nice place! Good value for money and everything I expected. Any communication was good and prompt.Only area for suggestion improvement is to maybe request all guests to be considerate of others, was a bit noisy at times, early morning doors and voices (ie 1 am -3 am) couple times that was.Overall good though and I would think about utilising again.

We had a lovely overnight stay here to attend a friend's party. Great location and the room was nice and clean with a comfy bed. Would have been better if there were a few plates and cutlery available as we had to eat our takeaway with wooden forks and from the packaging. The windows were locked so we couldn't air the musty smell from the room but overall it was good value for money at a great location. We would stay here again.

Hello,Me and my family frequent the Marina to visit our grandparent in Dreghorn. As always, me and my sister had a wonderful, clean, comfortable stay.The only thing we noticed in room 4 is that the second room with the single bed has no lamp. Only the big light which can be quite harsh when winding down for the evening.A small detail in an otherwise very pleasant stay. Again, thank you for having us and we'll be sure to be back soon.Niamh

Lovely room for young couple for couple nights stay

The guest house is in a nice spot on the harbour front, free parking is a bonus! The instructions for self check in were easy to follow and meant it was easy to check in.Even though we were on the ground floor there was no noise from people or traffic passing by, it was very quiet. Bonus fridge and microwave in room. Bedding was nice and clean and we slept well. For the price we paid it was good value.

Have used this guest house and the sister property St Andrews Guest House, for several months now while working in the area.Rooms are clean and comfortable with good facilities. Good location with plenty of amenities near property.Would recommend this guest house and would definitely use again.

Comfortable and clean good choice to stay

The place was very clean and had all amenities that I’d look for in an accommodation. The host was extremely kind and helpful. The only issue we came across was the tv remote not working but other than that I would visit this place again in the future.

Great visit. Rooms 9 and 10 are the best we’ve had since using this guest house. Nearly used them all this last 6 months. Great value and location. The weather was stormy but the rooms were calm and quiet.I’d just get some sort of heating for the bathrooms. Other than that. Perfect.

Marina View is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Andrew was very accommodating as I was a last minute arrival. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Perfect location on the Harbour and only a 5 min walk to the Beach or town.

Lovely guesthouse, clean, warm, looks newly refurbished. Great price. Right on the seafront. Entrance at the back was quite dark at night and had to negotiate a spiral outside staircase. Bathroom tiny and couldn’t fill the kettle from the tap. But overall great value and would stay again.

We stayed at the marina view whilst visiting our family.The accommodation was very clean and tidy, lovely views. We had no electric on arrival due to work having been carried out earlier in the day but this was quickly sorted.We were a group of 4 adults so the only thing we found was that there wasn't enough cups etc to cater for us all.We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Thank you.

Good and clean accommodation although it was poorly heated and found no heater in the toilet, so therefore skipped having showers. Possibly the room would be ok in the summer but needs the heating on longer for the winter months, also no chairs a bit annoying.

The room was immaculately clean and well presented, and the heating coped with one of the coldest nights of the year! Access was straightforward. Provision of towels and tea/coffee making resources was excellent. The only down side was the lack of even basic toiletries (except for one bottle of handwash) in the bathroom.

Nice and fresh looking room and central heating kept us warm enough for the 2 nights.. Nice area and close to beach and plenty nearby shopping, eating and drinking places.. needs.. a bigger kettle and some sort of heating in the toilet/shower area as too cold in there to actually have a shower.. overall good value though and enjoyed our stay.. thank you.. Booking was very easy, but didn't know what to expect.Well there was no need to worry at all. Opened the door, found our room, what a wonderful surprise, it was absolutely stunning. We were lucky to have found this accommodation as our ferry to Aaron was cancelled at short notice due to the weather conditions. We were able to spend a night here at short notice and would come back anytime. The accommodation is very well maintained, very clean and also quite reasonably priced. We had a great stay. Andrew has got the balance between being efficient and not overly officious.Everything was clean and tidy. Really good Wi-Fi .The guest house is situated right on the marina with the town centre with its pubs and restaurants and shops approximately 500 metres away with the beach the other way.I think Andrew has created a very slick, professional offering for all.We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we’d certainly come back.Thank you Andrew.

This was our 3rd time staying in the studio room and as before it was clean and comfortable. I think the shower head had been replaced as it was working a lot better. Will definitely book again.

Great place to stay , as a sole female travellerI always feel safe when I stay here. Room is spacious,clean and homely.Beds are so comfy ( soft beds ) blankets are cosy and pillows fluffy.Bathroom a good size.Only thing I would say is the heating , when I got to room I was sweating it wad like a sauna then during night it was ice cold after being on a night out and getting in after 2am the room was sssoooo cold 🥶.I tried to turn on heater but think they are on a timer?Didn't want to call managementis it was early hours.Other than that fantastic place to stay

Marina View was the perfect choice for an overnight stay with my daughter, easy to find, good parking and spotless room all for a very reasonable cost.If we are ever back in the area I would definitely book again.We stayed in Rm 5 and had a view overlooking the local park, unfortunately our eye was drawn to the disused furniture behind the fence which could very easily be disposed of or tidied up.

Excellent budget accommodation in Irvine harbour side area, ideal for trains to Glasgow and Ayr, loads of nice pubs and restaurants nearby. Very reasonably priced and clean. Fitted the bill perfectly. Would definitely stay again when up on the west coast of Scotland.Hard to fault.

Comfortable, clean, ideal place to stay whilst in Irvine. Close to shops, restaurants and walks with easy parking.

We stayed for 5 nights. The room size, ensuite were adequate size and clean. For the price it's great value. With plenty of places to eat on the doorstep.The only complaint would be the shower is leaking from the bottom and so water pressure is very poor.Would stay again.

Very pleasant stay. The room was clean and well presented. Access was simple with plenty of free parking nearby. A blind or net curtain would have been useful as we were on the ground floor and close to the main thoroughfare on the street. No complaints, good value for money, and would stay again.

The room was lovely, very clean, very spacious for a family. We had a lovely view of the harbour which you can see through the huge windows in the room, which was fantastic. The owner was extremely accommodating and polite and I couldn’t thank him enough. It was very easy to check in. It’s also very close to the café, restaurants and a glorious beach. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed in the lovely decorated and spotlessly clean family sea view room on the first floor and enjoyed our stay. Great value too. There was lots of car park spaces and we visited an excellent artisan bakery restaurant less than five minutes walk away called Gro! An ideal location to visit Ayrshire and Dumfries House.

Clear instructions provided to gain access to a very large, clean bedroom and bathroom. No problems whatsoever. Will definitely be back next year.Coffee shops, bars and restaurants were all very good and within walking distance of the marina view.

Our room was on the ground floor. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the accommodation was. It was beautifully clean and comfortable and so close to all the local eateries pubs etc. We had a lovely meal in Duncans. We will most definitely return as well as recommending to family and friends.

More remote than expected as arrived late and nowhere to eat out. Clean and comfortable bed, good TV and shower. Towels too small to use as body towels - more the size of hair towels.

It was a really nice place to stay. Nicely decorated room and the bed was comfy. I had a couple minor problems when I arrived. I called Andrew and they were fixed in less than 30 minutes. The only problem I had was that the heating wasn't working the first night. It was freezing. There was a portable heater, but it didn't really warm up the room. However, the heating was fixed by the next evening and it was really cosy. The only other thing I could suggest is to have some cutlery and crockery. Otherwise, what's the point in having a microwave? Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Also a great location.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions when visiting family, rooms are always clean and well looked after, always made to feel welcome. Will definitely be re booking this guest house and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Great little guest house, ideally located at Irvine Harbourside.Have stayed here several times now as it's perfect for when I'm visiting family. Good parking availability and plenty of restaurants nearby, in addition to the beach park.Happened to pass the lovely housekeeper, Wallace, as I was leaving, who offered to lift my bags to the car for me.Recommended for an affordable, basic crash-pad whilst in the area.

Room was lovely,very clean and beautifully decorated. Huge bathroom too. Would recommend a stay here. Nice to have the fridge and microwave, I hadn't realised they were in the room. Lovely outlook and near very good restaurants. I am sure we will return.

We were attending a show at Harbour Arts and chose the Marina View for its proximity (about 10 meters!) from the venue. Having registered on-line, an entry code is provided - we had room 9, which was terrific - spacious, beautifully clean, with a large shower room, wifi, tv, tea/coffee and a view across to the Marina. Irvine Harbour has a selection of places to eat and drink, all within a couple of minutes of the Marina View, so that was not a problem.More importantly, especially nowadays, it is excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

All arrangements worked well and the accommodation was ideal. If staying overnight in the area again, we would definitely look at this option. Price reasonable too.

The place was amazing! I would definitely go back in a heart beat. Me and my boyfriend have planned to hopefully come back at February time so fingers cross and hope that it will be as fun as it was the first time around. 🫶🏻

A very comfortable room and bed. Good value with tea and coffee making facilities. The room had a fridge so you could put stuff in that if you so wished and a small table and two chairs, which was a nice touch. You self check into the room, the door keycode was difficult to use as was hard to initially enter. But apart from that no other issues. Wifi was good. Within 20 yards of the hotel was a nice bistro Duncan's that did a nice evening meal and also breakfast at 10am which was checkout time , and also a couple of pubs nearby too. Good views of Irvine harbour and seabirds.

Good location, large room and ensuite

Nice location. Peaceful place.We enjoyed our stay. One thing was that the room when we booked showed that it is good for 2 Adults 2 children. One double bed onesofa bed, but in our room there was no sofa bed, we found a single bed instead of sofa bed, so one of us had to sleep on floor for 4 nights.Location was excellent with some good eateries and plenty of parking nearby, electric car charging station was at walking distance. overall all it was a good stay.

A basic, clean room with all the facilities you need. Easy to book, and quick communication. All was fine but mattress was too soft to our liking.

The Marina View was a very pleasant place to stay.Lovely view of the marina with Arran in the distance and some very nice restaurants and cafes nearby. A few minor issues with the room, but would be more than happy to stay there again.

Overall I was happy with my stay at the Marina View Guest House and would return again if in the area.My room was clean, comfortable and warm and the fridge, kettle and microwave proved to be most useful.The Wifi was very good and the TV was working fine.I have given the place 4 stars as one of the chairs was slightly broken and the towel rail in the bathroom was also broken.A curtain in the bathroom would be nice but not essential.The shower was fine but there appeared to be a slight fault which I am sure can easily be rectified.

The self check-in was smooth and trouble free, my room was clean and comfortable and the shower was good. Remember to bring toiletries as none are provided and, although information states a hairdryer is provided, there wasn’t one in my room but fortunately I had my own.I would happily stay at this hotel again.

Small but clean and quiet. Great location as it was quiet and with parking right outside. Bed was a little small for us but we are both tall. Only addition id have liked to see was a wee mirror near the plugs at the window so i could do my hair.But you could bring your own. Including a fridge etc was a welcome addition to the room. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed for one only one night unfortunately but we absolutely loved the central location close to train station and beach, we booked two rooms one double and one studio for our kids, we were allocated rooms next to each other which was great and the rooms were clean comfortable and both had massive private bathrooms, loved the fact we could leave and enter using the code as our kids wanted to keep going over to look at the harbour so we didn’t feel like we were being annoying. We will definitely be staying again and recommending to family and friends

Lovely establishment with great location and excellent value. Challenges to make the most of this building as a guest house are evident but work well. Would have preferred a full size sink in bedroom rather than a fridge but purely a personal opinion. Only negative was no plug socket near either mirror? Some very nice eateries close by.

Had a lovely stay, room was spotless and clean, very comfortable bed, wellequipped bathroom with great shower. Fridge and microwave a great idea. Location was spot on for us as we like walking and there was a lovely beach walk. Both members of housekeeping staff we met were pleasant and helpful.

I had a lovely stay at Marina View Guest House. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The property is a short walk from the beach and the port has some lovely cafes/coffee shop close by. Easy self check in/out.

Stayed or night after ferry to Arran cancelled . Lovely view.Room had fridge and microwave, tv and shower. Not far from ferry. Went to restaurant two doors away had excellent meal. Also takeaways from local Indian and Chinese.On the harbour quiet and peaceful. Slept well.

This place is very neat and clean also the owner is a Gem. I stayed in this place for a week with my family and it was awesome. The rooms are affordable.The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this guesthouse for those who are visiting Irvine to view harbour side and want to enjoy nice diners are next door. Lovely quiet location, great for walks and nature.Just a 10 minute walk from train station and shopping centre.Restaurant and coffee shop only 2 minutes away.The room was exceptionally clean and it was great having a fridge and microwave.The bathroom was huge and very clean.
